The Icare Tonovet Plus is a refinement of the popular Tonovet and provides increased accuracy and ease of use. Tonovet is specifically designed for veterinary use and allows easy measurement of intraocular pressure in horses and small animals. The device does not require calibration, with pressure measurements based on the rebound principle where a very lightweight probe makes momentary contact with the cornea.
The process is painless and does not require local anaesthetic application to the eye. It is quick and simple and causes minimal anxiety or stress, so sedation is not required. Comes complete with disposable probes. Requires 4 x AA batteries (included). Made in Finland.
